| I know a lot of people don't do Xanga anymore, but I know people still look at it - so I'm updating.
So, school's almost out for the summer. My first year of college is almost gone. It's crazy how fast this year has come and gone. I was looking back at my old posts from when I first got here to VA and I've seen just how much I've grown. It's such a good thing. This year has been a blast though. There have been countless memories made, many a-lessons learned, life-long friends made, countless incredible opportunities like none other. What a great God I serve! He has blessed me tremendously since being here at LU. I would have never even thought the ways that He has blessed me, encouraged me, taught me new things about Him and life and people and shown me things about myself. He's pretty awesome . . .
Here's some peeetures . . .
Joey and I painted the rock for Pajey's birthday.
I told her to pose like Ariel! haha

 Uuuuhhhh..... too many pictures, Joe?

GOD IS SOO GOOD!! He continues to remind me how good He is. Even when I lose sight of HIM . . . He caught me when I was focusing on things that aren't Him. 2 nights ago, He brought me to the throne room. It was an experience like none other. I'm happy I can be here to serve Him! I'm so glad I'm here at Liberty. It's helping me to grow in HIM so much.
Last night I saw Third Day, which was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I remember back in high school thinking about how excited I was to come to Liberty and one of the reasons of coming here would be the fantastic opportunities to see my favorite bands play! Now, i'm seeing it. I'm living in the time which I dreamed about. I'm living in God's prefect will. There's nothing better. I'm stoked for SonShine 2006!!!!! I'm going to go this year I don't care! haha I have to go! I'm not missing it for the 3rd year in a row!
Last weekend, I went to CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) in Washington D.C. That was so great! I loved being around all the like-mindedness (politically) cuz it stirred me up! I met some awesome people and politicians!
When someone meets me, within the conversation, I want them to know I'm a Christian by the words I speak and say about myself and by bringing God into our conversation.

Tyler took a pic of me when he was goin back to his room. Paje's shoulder is in there too. ha. Yes, that is Chick-fil-A on the ground! MN needs to get that!!!!!

Oliver North, USMC (ret.) spoke about "War Stories" which was incredible!

Once again, Oliver.

Spittin' off the bridge. We're some classy dames, aren't we?

Sarah and Ashley

Ann Coulter's my hero.

The sweet escalator to the "Metro" (SUBWAY!!!!!).

This architechture was amazing.

I wonder about her sometimes. haha

Jon and Talia! They're so cute.

We love the NASA channel!

Naomi wouldn't give us the controls cuz she wanted to hear the woman sing the whole way through "Amazing Grace" and wouldn't change the channel until we each sang a line.

Emmy Rossum.

| Before I left MN, Jim Hammond preached. It was reeally good. He recommended this reading, "God's Creative Power Will Work For You . . . " It's changed my life. I recommend it to anyone and everyone!!
Being back at school is fun! It's good to see friends again and meeting a whole ton of new people! That's always fun. I was really not wanting to leave home after Christmas break, but yes, I am glad I'm here after all. Workin' hard has become my job. It's a great feeling. It's rewarding. Very much.
Here's some pics of what I've been up to!

Joe took Paje, Mallory and I up to the Bald Spot. It was so gorgeous!!

The sunset was changing rapidly! What a magnificent Creator I serve! :)

Sorry, can't get enough of His goodness!

Joe, Mallory and Paje. Sometimes I wonder about that girl . . . haha

Tight shot.

That's a hot jacket, Paje.

I loved watching the many fights. haha good ol' hockey.

Sweet view.

Go LU!

So, this ref kept cracking up at something. Haha

Close up to the action. Not only that, but he's #10

Sweet up close shot of Pete.

Love the close up action.

Joe #2 - the deuce- got all spiffed up to watch his team!

The man was talking to himself + Joe was looking over = Perfect picture. Ha bad picture, but it was good times.

Joe was tryin' to show us a lil trick that his pa showed 'im.

| Break has been amazin'. In more ways than one. Being with family has been extremely wonderful! Being in Virginia has made me realize how much I love Minnesota. I don't know how many times I've said that, but it's true. It's awesome seeing my friends. OoOoOh and Caribou! MmmM yum!
Another HUGE blessing is Living Word Christian Center. I definitely took my home church for granted. The teaching is wonderful and I get filled so much from LWCC. I'm getting filled by things that Liberty isn't/can't fill. Don't get me wrong, I love Liberty and I know it's where God wants me to be, but . . . it isn't Living Word. There are so many things that people miss about God and it's real sad to me. There's so much power in God that people just don't/can't/won't grasp. I believe there's hope, though! Anything is possible with God!
This book I'm reading called, "Discover The Power In The Prayers Of Paul." It's amaaazing! It talks about how the Apostle Paul (formerly Saul - persecuter of Christians) prayed in God constantly. Constantly? You might say, how is that possible? 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, "Pray without ceasing." Praying should be as close and regular as your breath, integrated into every fiber of your being. Romans 8:26-27 is such a good verse. It says: "Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do NOT know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts KNOWS what the mind of the Spirit is, BECAUSE He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God."
This way we can ask the Holy Spirit to guide us in prayer and we can be sensitive to His leading and we can pray in accordance with His understanding rather than our own. This stuff is so good in this book and I COULD go on forever.
Anyways, break has been filled by a lot of boarding. Here's some pics!

My brothers, (almost married) Jake and Jonathan!

Rich being a CHACH as usual! 50-51 ... pfft. what is THAT!?!? Ha!

Haha! Derek was "resting" waiting for all of us snowboarders to strap in. Skiiers are just too cool for us boarders. *gag*

Did someone strategically place this here? Coincidence, I think not! Haha!!

WOW! Hottie!
Love always,
"Clappridge" hehe
